Greener Home Reward

Barclays Bank has launched the ‘Greener Home Reward’ which offers customers up to £2000 towards energy-efficient home improvements.

It will offer up to £2,000 to Barclays residential mortgage customers who register and have installed selected home energy efficiency-related improvements. There are numerous improvements offered under the scheme such as Air Source Heat Pump, double or triple-glazed windows and Solar Panels to name a few.

Energy Efficient Solar Panels

You can also get home insulation, as long as the improvement is completed by a TrustMark-registered business or tradesperson. C.S. Venkatakrishnan, group chief executive officer at Barclays, said: “There is a clear need to improve the energy efficiency of UK housing, but as our data indicates, cost remains a barrier to turning desire into action.
